Dive into the beautiful world of Arabic dance and music!
In this progressive, full-experience session, you will learn about the history and cultural context of Raqs Sharqi/Beledi (bellydance), learn how to stand and move safely and mindfully with correct posture and alignment. You will breakdown and drill the basic isolations and movements of this beautiful Middle Eastern art form in a safe, inclusive, body-positive, learning-focused environment with dedicated dancer/teacher Rahel, PLUS get a great workout!!
Please make sure you have purchased and watched the prerequisite material before attending this class. Links below.

For class, wear comfortable, breathable clothes and bare feet (ideally, but shoes are fine if you need support).
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. No drop-ins
Recordings included each week in addition to the interactive live stream.
Students will have access to recordings up until 2 weeks after the course ends.
